The Intramural Sports program at UC Davis is structured to provide students, faculty, staff, and degreed alumni to participate in a variety of competitive and recreational sports activities. Every year more than 19,000 students play on over 2,500 teams, in 27 different activities. Intramural offerings include traditional team sports such as basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, ultimate frisbee and flag football, along with a few nontraditional activities like inner tube water polo, floor hockey and dodgeball. The Intramural Sports Program also sponsors tournaments and leagues for tennis, badminton and racquetball enthusiasts.
DIVISIONS OF PLAY
For most team sports, individuals may choose to participate in one of several divisions. In most sports you may choose from "A", "B", and "REC" divisions for both men and women. There are also divisions for Residence Hall residents. CoRec divisions are also offered for most team sports as well. For more specific information about division requirements, check the Policy and Eligibility Guidelines.
