Access to other University of California Facilities

Reciprocity
UC Davis students and faculty/staff ARC members are entitled to use recreation centers at other University of California campuses under the Reciprocity Agreement.

Students
As students travel around the state, over breaks and holidays, they often seek to continue their fitness routines. There is now a policy permitting students from one campus to use recreational sports facilities at any other University of California campus.

During the academic year, visiting students with valid UC student IDs will be admitted at no charge to recreational facilities system wide. At specialty facilities--e.g., aquatic centers, equestrian centers, etc.--the visiting students may participate by paying the standard campus student rate.

For summer quarter/session, UC students will be eligible to purchase summer passes as though they were continuing students at the campus they are visiting.

Faculty/Staff
At any time of the year (including summers), faculty/staff ARC members will be admitted at no charge to any UC recreational sports facility system wide. To gain access, faculty/staff ARC members will need to present a Recreation Member Guest Pass and a valid UC faculty or staff ID card at the recreation center they are visiting. The Guest Passes, which are good for one week at a time, are available from the member services coordinator at the ARC member services desk.

At specialty facilities--e.g. aquatic centers, equestrian centers, etc.--visitors may participate by paying the standard campus faculty and staff rate. Faculty and staff members that will be spending more than one week at another campus may purchase passes and memberships at the local campus faculty and staff rate.

The ARC and Health Net
UC Davis faculty and staff members with Health Net insurance coverage can earn up to $65 toward any ARC membership, program, or service just by participating in the Health Net Get Fit program.

How to earn your rewards from Health Net:
1. The the Health Net Risk Questionnaire and receive a $25 gift certificate. You'll need to register on the Health Net website.
2. Earn another $40 gift certificate by completing one of Health Net's five free wellness programs.
3. Once you have completed the questionnaire, you will be contacted within 4-6 weeks with information on how to redeem your certificate.

NIRSA Passport
All UC Davis faculty and staff who are also ARC members can use the recreational facilities of other participating universities for free when they travel. Through UC Davis Campus Recreation's participation in the NIRSA Health & Wellness Passport program, presented by Matrix, may enjoy free access to a wide-reaching network of recreation facilities. The program is administered by NIRSA, (the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association, of which Campus Recreation is an Institutional Member.)
