TRANSPORTATION
The
cooperative nature of our trips is apparent in the transportation.
On most OA trips, the participants provide their own
transportation. By sharing and carpooling, we keep the
costs of the trip down. Unless specifically stated that
OA provides the transportation, all the transportation
logistics and expenses will be the responsibility of
the participants and will be arranged at the pre-trip
meeting.
WHITEWATER
Outdoor Adventures is your window to the wet and wild world
of whitewater rafting and kayaking at its best. OA runs
day trips in the nearby Class III whitewater of the South
Fork of the American River and the more challenging Class
IV North Fork. Join us for a weekend in the Siskiyou Mountains
for a Klamath Wilderness trip or Class V whitewater on
the Cal Salmon. We also rent whitewater gear to aid you
in preparing your own trip. We have the latest information
on river conditions, weather reports and guidebooks. In
addition, we have trips and instructional courses every
weekend, and a resource center of maps and guidebooks for

TRIPS & CLASSES
All of OA’s trips and classes are cooperative in
style and participants learn by doing. The pre-trip meeting
is an important element in this style of trip. You have
an opportunity to meet your fellow adventurers, to participate
in the development of the logistics, and to ensure that
you arrive on the day of your trip prepared for an exciting
adventure.
